Andersen Slider Doors Installation — Sherills Ford, NC

The existing rear French doors were difficult to operate and lacked the modern energy efficiency the homeowners desired. With one opening requiring an 8-foot unit and the other a standard height, the project demanded a cohesive look across different scales.

We replaced both units with high-performance Andersen slider doors. To accommodate the home's specific wall construction, we custom-milled extension jambs for both openings. The project was executed with extreme efficiency: by the end of Day 1, both doors were installed and weatherproofed. Day 2 was dedicated to precision finish carpentry, re-trimming the interiors, and matching the paint to the existing room aesthetic.

Completed in just two days, this upgrade provided a massive improvement in functionality and natural light. Our "Step Above" approach to the extension jambs ensured that these doors don't just "sit in the hole"—they look like a seamless architectural feature of the home.
