Studs-Out Bathroom Renovation

Problem: The existing bathroom was a relic of a previous decade, suffering from a cramped "phone booth" shower and a faux 45-degree wall that wasted significant square footage. On the exterior, a dated half-moon window—which the homeowners disliked—disrupted the home's aesthetic and limited natural light functionality.
Solution: We performed a complete studs-out renovation, beginning with a structural redesign of the room's layout. By identifying and removing the unnecessary angled wall, we reclaimed lost square footage to change the entire footprint of the suite. We eliminated the oversized tub and cramped shower to make room for a massive, 40-inch wide by 60-inch long custom walk-in shower with a built-in bench and waterfall accent tile.
To solve the storage issue, we engineered a custom linen closet into the reclaimed space. Finally, we addressed the exterior by removing the hated half-moon window, reframing the opening to fit a modern square replacement, and "feathering in" the homeowner's original vinyl siding.
Result: This project represents the "Step Above" standard of craftsmanship. We didn't just update the finishes; we modernized the home's architecture. From the seamless siding integration on the exterior to the luxury footprint on the interior, the result is a high-ROI transformation that looks like it was part of the original build.
